Boarding + Layovers. Wellgreen Farm is located right off I-74 and close to I-55, and I-39. We offer overnight boarding for you and your horse, monthly boarding, horse leasing, riding lessons, group parties and events, training, and horse sales. We are located on 30 acres and conveniently located only 3 miles east of Downs, IL off I-74. We have a very comfortable and cozy efficiency apartment available, which is located above the horse stalls in our main barn. It comes equipped with coffee, condiments, a toaster, microwave and full size refrigerator and stove. We a comfy leather sofa, two twin beds which are very comfortable with clean fresh bedding. We recently installed new carpeting as well. For your horse, we have 10 X 12 stalls that are bedded down with fresh shavings prior to your arrival. We do require proof of a negative coggins and health papers prior to unloading your horse(s). We also have electrical hook-ups for your motor home or living quarter trailer as well. We have plenty of parking available. We also have an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and a regulation sized round pen. We have local trails available to ride on but we are also located only 5 miles from Morraine View State Park which boasts of 15 miles of riding trails. We are 10 minutes from Bloomington/Normal where there are a multitude of restaurants available for you to chose from.
